Dr. Rickard Kava
Dr. Richard Kava, also known by his patients as Dr. Rick Kava, has been providing families with exceptional comprehensive dental care for 20 years. Highly educated, he obtained his dental degree from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry. He then completed a general practice residency with the Veterans Administration at the Dawson Center for Advanced Dentistry. To broaden his knowledge on other related topics, Dr. Kava also completed a mini orthodontic residency program and sleep apnea training.
Dr. Kava feels it is important to stay on the cutting-edge of dentistry. Thus, he maintains memberships in many prestigious professional organizations to keep up-to-date on the latest techniques and technology. He is currently a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry, Iowa Dental Association, Sioux City Dental Society, American Orthodontic Society, American Equilibration Society and the American Academy of Sleep Apnea.
